Our pilot school achieved 17000 interannual flight hours

Aerotec’s students flew more than 17000 hours between September 2020 and September 2021

It has been one of the busiest years, flight-wise, in Aerotec’s 3 decades of existence

Flying at Aerotec pilot school

Aerotec pilot school registered more than 17000 flight hours in the 12 months between September 2020 and September 2021. These are the best interannual flight statistics in the almost 3 decades that our school has been existing.

The reasons behind these good numbers are diverse: on one hand, we have started renewing our fleet, a process initiated with the acquisition of our brand new Tecnam P2006T and P2008, which has allowed us to increase our aircraft numbers as well as lowering the median age of our fleet.

On the other hand, we have improved our maintenance processes, which in turn, has allowed us to keep our fleet in the air for longer periods during these last 12 months.

We would also like to say that we would have never reached those good numbers without the professionality and diligence of our flight instructors. And truth to be told, the weather has helped us as well.

Here at Aerotec, we have always funnelled most of our human and financial resources towards flight hours, for we understand that a high number of flight hours performed at a constant, regular pace, is the best way to learn how to fly. We do hope to improve these numbers even further, but even if it will fluctuate, we will stay true to our core teaching philosophy of putting flight above everything.
