Former Aerotec pilot school students shine bright this year
These are Miguel de Felipe, Francesc Torrens, and Javier Jimenez, who completed their ATPL with us.
Three former Aerotec Pilot School students have received the Carlos Salas scholarship for 2025, corresponding to the fourth edition of these grants. Specifically, we are talking about Miguel de Felipe, Francesc Torrens, and Javier Jiménez. All of them completed the ATPL at our school and have been awarded this scholarship, which recognizes their academic excellence.
The Carlos Salas scholarship is aimed at new pilots who have completed and paid for their ATPL in full. It was created through a collaboration between three different institutions: the Spanish pilots’ union (Sepla), the Official College of Commercial Aviation Pilots (COPAC), and Global Training Aviation.
Each year, a selection process is opened for the awarding of five scholarships, consisting of a grant to cover the type rating course for the aircraft model chosen by the winners (B737 NG, A320, or ATR).
From our school, we would like to congratulate all the winners, and we hope that one day this type of initiative and financial help for pilot training can grow and expand toward obtaining the ATPL itself.
