Airbus acquires Strategic Simulator Solutions, a pilot school located in Colorado, Aurora,\u00a0 in order to face the upcoming huge pilot demand<\/p>\n

When two bitter rivals such as Airbus and Boeing arrives to the same\u00a0conclusion, you better listen. However, the two aircraft giants have been warning\u00a0governments\u00a0and aeronautic authorities around the globe of an upcoming world pilot shortage, to little avail. Now Airbus has putted its wallet where its mouth is<\/a>, doubling its pilot training capacity\u00a0trough\u00a0the\u00a0acquisition\u00a0of the North American pilot school Strategic Simulator Solutions.<\/p>\n

With this\u00a0acquisition, Airbus has doubling down on its own forecasts, wanting to profit from the incoming pilot drought, for it seems that the pilot training world\u00a0is\u00a0bound to be ill\u00a0equipped\u00a0to face it: the United States will need 122.000 new pilots in the next 17 years, while according to AESA, Spain will need to outright multiply X5 its pilot\u00a0training\u00a0capacities in order to meet the world’s demand for pilots, fueled by a 4,5% yearly growth of air traffic until the year 2035.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
